The World Health Organization says that an apparent indifference of world governments to handle the Ebola crisis has added much to shape the epidemic as monster for the people of West African countries. The situation became more serious. A document has been released by the World Health Organization that stated that the agency would seek for more influence and a more active participation if a similar crisis happens again in future.

WHO has taken most part of the blame onto itself as it failed to provide much needed programs as well as counter measures to smash down the Ebola virus. According to a report the deadly Ebola virus epidemic has killed around 8,371 people so far while the total number of reported case is 21,000.

The agency is preparing up a report at the moment and it has promised to release it when the current crisis will be completely resolved.

Viewing from the documents that were submitted to around thirty four nations that are members of WHO’s executive board, the agency condemned world governments that had been responsible for imposing International Health Regulations in public health risk areas by closing borders as well as stopping who came from affected countries.

According to the agency some of the affected countries lacked minimum requirements in very much important areas such as readiness, supervision and ability to give proper warning that is related to the disease.

In another separate report it was also suggested that the present system in the organization must be changed. The agency should have additional power so that it could be able to take effective and better measures in future if this kind of emergency happens again.

The three West African countries have suffered much because of infection. The destruction across Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea was so much bad that it shattered their economies.
