Raúl Castro Receives President of Turkey
Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers received yesterday, February 11, the Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, who is making an official visit to Cuba.

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers received yesterday, February 11, the Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, who is making an official visit to Cuba.

The two leaders discussed the positive bilateral relations between their countries, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening ties and dialogue between the two nations.

They additionally addressed issues on the international agenda. Accompanying the distinguished guest were Mevlüt Avuamp, minister of Foreign Affairs; Nihat Zeybekci, minister of Economy; Mehdi Eker, minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock; Omer Celik, ministro of Culture and Tourism; Hasan Servet Oktem, Turkish ambassador in Cuba, and other members of the delegation.

Also participating for Cuba were Foreign Miniser Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; Julián González Toledo, minister of Culture; Manuel Marrero Cruz, minister of Tourism; Antonio Carricarte Corona, acting minister of Foreign Trade and Investment; Rogelio Sierra Díaz, deputy foreign minister; and Alberto González Casals, ambassador in Turkey.
